Is that all?
Hardly. We accept most types of writing, but many of our writers lean toward brevity. Some make use of our handy-dandy Wordpress “more” tag to break up long stories or epic poems. The basic rule is that we break the “rules.” Which rules?
- Every Press aspires to become a mammoth Press that eats other Presses.
- Authors need to scurry and worry for weeks before submitting their writing.
- Authors are faceless shut-ins who never meet one another.
- Writing should stay stashed away in dusty old notebooks of embarrassment.
At WORDCHASM, we work openly and flexibly with one another to create a yearly print anthology of the year’s stories, mini-flash fiction, poems, and epic poems. At last, we get together and sign the books while feasting on something delectable like chicken wings and drinking something delightful…think PBR pitchers…think smoking jackets.
